Hi, I’m Mayra.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed therapist providing virtual therapy for individuals and couples throughout California. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum depression, and relationship communication.
I especially enjoy working with young adults, women navigating postpartum challenges, couples seeking deeper connection, and first-generation clients balancing cultural expectations, identity, and personal growth.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale — a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we work to better understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical tools that create meaningful and lasting change.
My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Gottman Method Therapy for couples. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique experiences, relationships, and personal goals.
